LifeWork Balance

10 06 2005

hello, blog.

I don’t want to sound defensive, because I’m not, but I’m a bit busy with life at the moment, you know, things, and stuff. I’ve been keeping up a bit of socialising for you though, reading other people’s blogs and leaving comments, and I’ve been adding some new del.icio.us links pretty much every day, to keep you company. I know it seems disloyal, but once I’ve finished marking all my students’ blogs I promise to put in some quality time. Hope you understand. And please stop looking at me like that ;)

love
Jean

Hi jean,

Yes, I feel like this sometimes. Like right now studying for this exam! Have you read or seen any information about He has had a few interviews lately (such as on The Daily Show and NewsHour) talking about his new book “EVERYTHING BAD IS GOOD FOR YOU: How Popular Culture is Making Us Smarter”. Interesting if somewhat hypish (hypish, adj, to be to some extent full of hype).

Oh I am so gonna get into this vlog movement, I’m planning on spending 6months in Japan next year, so this seems like a perfect avenue for peer communication! Found a link through the previous comment here to someone who said something about someone else talking about videoblogging, so I’m going there!

Hope the marking is going well! :)

Oh man, seriously, that link really didn’t work. Hahahahahah. It was of course only supposed to be on his name, which is of course Steven Johnson.

Later! (ignore the double post).
