I drew a pig

With the trackpad, give me a break…apparently, the pig drawing says a whole lot about me. Like that I’m a good listener, a traditionalist, and have a great sex life. Duh.

But I cannot resist these internet quizzes and personality tests! God, someone save me from the memes. Someone other than trine, who constantly encourages others’ bad behaviour.

I would say something about your piggy, Jean, but WOW KRIS, that pig is SCARY!

    ;-)

I actually intend to stop doing memes when i start the Dphil… or maybe that is when I’ll need them the most… Actually Jean, I mean to pick your brain about some good (introductory) books to read in your (our) field…. I need something semi-academic, but relatively light as I don’t want to get too scared too soon and i’m not supposed to start till october. any ideas for a light warm-up? I notice Relating Narratives in your sidebar is $35 which is a little over my budget at the moment…. is it worth the price?

Hey, Kris, I concur with Trine about the scariness of your pig!

Trine, more info please, forgive me, but I can’t remember what your DPhil is gonna be about. I picked up relating narratives because it was pretty and I wanted to read some european philosophy, haven’t delved into it much yet.

hm, yes, i don’t know yet, but something in the field of the narrative creation of subjectivity online (i know, *everybody’s* doing it, so I am working on getting my angle right…), blogs and things. Cough. As you can see, i”ve not started yet… So looking for something bit light and introductory really….
